Clay has designed equestrian projects across twenty states and counting ranging in size from small-acreage hobby farms to large professional facilities. He has authored numerous articles on sustainable housekeeping practices in leading equestrian magazines including Equestrian Living and Equine Wellness, along with speaking about these topics at national horse expos, including the Equine Affaire. In addition to Sustainable Stables, Clay also owns and operates a small environmental consulting firm that focuses on research and development of technologies to clean up toxic metals from soils.
